There are two selections to make when you buy something from MoreSue – Color Combinations (or colorways), and Patterns – the pattern you choose will describe how the color is laid out on the fabric – as you can see below, the patterns vary with each garment, but are distinctive. Please note that socks are only available in four patterns, as the more complicated patterns don’t work on socks.
We dye and “spin” each item by hand – so each and every item will be individual and unique. Because we hand dye your order when we get it from you, your finished item won’t look exactly like any example on this site. Your selected design and colors will be used, and applied with care and intent – and each item will have subtle differences that make each piece we make a unique and beautiful piece of art.

Colors gently flow and interlace over the fabric, like light dappling through leaves.
Imagine a peacock with its tail spread. Colors are arranged in a series of rings, growing larger toward the top (or bottom), with dappling in the spaces between “feathers”. The center of the pattern forms unique shapes that are a little different on every piece.
Spinning whorls of color – this is the classic “tie die spiral” pattern. This pattern is one big spiral, with the color extending into dappled color on outer parts like the sleeves.
Indicate in the “Additional Info” text box if you want multiple spirals rather than one big one.
